I was cleaning out the car and found two of Maria's bows, and she won't wear them, so I put one on Veronica. Ha! Ooh she had a bad night last night but I predicted it because she slept badly all day. She woke up at 2:00 to nurse and wouldn't go back until 4:00, then was up at 5:30 or something. Ugh. I am hoping and praying it was an anomoly. I have been trying to lay her down to nap but it's not really taking yet. Maybe at four months?

14 Weeks

 
Poor Veronica. No picture face yet. :) This sweet outfit is from our cousins Teri and Michael, I was happy all day, looking at her in it. So thanks, Teri and Michael (and Kira)!

Three Months

 
Well, at three months we have had a big turnaround with Veronica's sleeping. She is still kind of grumpy and can really cry, still, but she is doing better in the car and she is happier in general. She is pulling and pulling toward sitting and she loves to stand up in your lap. Anthony did that too, but Maria never did! She didn't even know she HAD legs until she was like nine months old! She is happier but still not happy and I hope she gets happy soon. Still, this sleeping - the night sleeping - is insanely good. She usually is asleep for the night by 8:30 or so and sleeps til 7:00 and this morning, 8:00. Of course, I am DYING to nurse her by then, but I imagine that will settle down too. So far, so good. Next month she'll have another doctor's visit and I'll be interested to see what she weighs. It seems as if she is really chunking up. I hope she doesn't outgrown the bassinet any time, God knows where I'll put her.

13 Weeks

Good Day

 
Veronica is having a good day today, kind of. She slept like a wonderchild last night, from 8:30 until 7:00 without a peep. That includes the time that Maria was HOWLING or Anthony was banging his door, so that's really good. However, she is protesting being left alone in her seat now, so that's all I'll say about her.

One of these things...

 
...just doesn't belong here. Ha! Pissy Veronica, surrounded by all the happy fish and others. I can't say a bad word about her today, she went to sleep last night with no screaming and slept from 7:30 until 6:15. It may never happen again, but for now, she remains my favorite. :)

12 Weeks

 
Veronica, with a friend. :) Here we are, at 12 weeks, a date I've been waiting for FOREVER. She has been sleeping very well, she is still pretty fussy when she is tired during the day, which is about every hour or so. But she is getting better and it is taking less time to calm her down. I was looking in my Maria journal the other night, though, and I wrote that Maria screamed *every night* before she fell to sleep when she was like six months old! What is up with these kids? Anyway, here she is, 12 weeks. She is in a 3 month outfit here and it is thisclose to not fitting anymore.
