42 Weeks

Optimistic

 
She started really crawling in earnest today. It's as adorable as ever.

New Clothes

 
This outfit is from Target, it's so cute and bright and sunshiney, which is a nice contrast to this rotten weather that we're having. It's supposed to snow more on Friday AND Monday. It makes it very hard to get outside and I'm afraid Veronica is going to get rickets, so I asked her doctor for a vitamin prescription the other day. I forgot to say she is just above the 10th percentile for weight and around the 25th percentile for height. I feel like people must see me with her and think I'm the nanny. :)

Nine months

Veronica weighed sixteen pounds, (not NINE, I am crazy and tired and confused, apparently, thanks Abby!) two ounces today and was 27" long. She got one shot, and didn't even cry. He said she seems fine, she has a diaper rash but he said it's normal. He said to start giving her a cup with some whole milk in it around meal time. It would be a *miracle* if she would start to take whole milk in a cup. I'd start to wean her and go on vacation if that happened! Ha!

and Veronica could care less. We went to a playgroup today, just us girls, and they were both really good. Veronica was held by a few of my friends and she was very cuddly and sweet. She is still not exactly right, she's not nursing great, but she's better. And look at her, look at how sweet she is! It's hard to get mad at her, even if she is a crappy, CRAPPY sleeper.

Mike took these, the other day. V is getting so big and today she really crawled but just for ONE second and then she got what she wanted and fell plop! right on it. She is sleeping very very badly and she has had a bad week, nursing too. Tuesday she didn't nurse one time after 4:00 in the morning until bedtime, it was MURDER. She was a little fevery earlier in the week, but she is cool now.

40 Weeks

No picture, because she is busy upstairs screaming her head off. Who cares, really, how old she is, as long as she keeps sleeping like she's six weeks old?

"Hmmmm.... (39 Weeks)

... should I wake up at 10:00 tonight? 12:00? 10:00 AND 12:00? And 2:00 and 4:00? Hmmmm."
